Our range of camps, incursions and excursions are an ideal way to introduce your primary school learners to all the benefits of hands-on learning in the outdoors.
Programs focus on improving behaviour regulation, prioritisation skills and achieving short term goals, making decisions, and contributing through cooperation.
Our Year 7 camp programs recognise the pathway into Year 7 can be filled with uncertainty and trepidation and supports students navigate the early start to the year in a meaningful and fun way.
Year 7 programs focus on developing and nurturing social relationships, confidence, cooperation, moving students from self-focus to outward-focus and increasing their ability to identify and manage risk.
Year 8 programs focus on shaping positive group dynamics. Students participate in a wide variety of new challenges through the challenge by choice approach, fostering the understanding that with effort comes empowerment.
Outcomes are centred on problem-solving, building community, personal responsibility, contributing to a group, identifying strengths and challenges, and exploring activities associated with health, wellbeing, and fitness.
Year 9 journey programs operate as a rite of passage experience, through remote locations. Students learn skills to ensure their time in the outdoors is safe, comfortable and stimulating.
Students participate in activities fostering resilience, responsibility, empathy, problem-solving, decision making, cooperation and independence. Students explore leadership styles supporting management skills for themselves and others and develop a respect for the natural environment.
Year 10 students have now moved from interdependence to independence. The Year 10 peak experience can take place across remote settings sharpening self-reliant capabilities and encouraging your students to empower others through challenging situations.
With a focus on leadership, managing risk, exercising self-sufficiency, initiate problem-solving, persistence and resilience, students work together toward achieving goals and applying knowledge and skills around sustainability.
